Overview
Attorney Michael Kozlov joined Cohen Cleary P.C. as an Associate in the Taunton office in 2026.
Prior to joining Cohen Cleary, Michael earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2024. During law school, he worked at the University of Connecticut Intellectual Property Law Clinic, where he assisted clients with trademark matters. He also contributed to legal research and case strategy as a Summer Associate at a Connecticut-based insurance defense firm.
In 2021, Michael graduated magna cum laude from the University of Massachusetts – Boston with a degree in Economics. While completing his undergraduate studies, he was part of the Philosophy Club. He also worked full time in the healthcare field where he developed the necessary skills needed to navigate highly regulated industries, particularly focusing on Medicare and Medicaid compliance.
Michael brings a thoughtful, practical, and solutions-oriented approach to his work, grounded in his diverse professional background. He is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association.
Outside of the office, Michael enjoys indoor rock climbing, listening to history podcasts, and spending time with family and friends.
