Overview
Prior to joining Cohen Cleary P.C., Attorney Masterson was the founder and managing partner of a boutique law firm in Providence, Rhode Island.
Over the last 20 years, his practice has concentrated in the areas of Civil Litigation with a focus on Creditors’ Rights, Bankruptcy, and Family Law.
Throughout his career, he has successfully represented clients in the Appellate Courts of Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut as well as the Bankruptcy Appellate Panels Panel and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
Shawn is a firm believer in giving back to the community. He has been a past board member of the Providence/Warwick Convention and Visitors Bureau, a current member of the Board of Appeals for the Town of Hopkinton, Massachusetts, a volunteer coach for youth basketball and lacrosse programs and regularly provides pro bono legal services to victims of domestic violence.
Shawn resides in Hopkinton, Massachusetts with his family. Outside of the office Shawn, he is a competitive marathoner.
