Overview
Mary Jeanne Stone has been practicing Law since 1990. She represents clients in Divorce, Custody and Parenting Time matters, Modifications, Guardianships, Restraining Orders, Prenuptial Agreements and Bankruptcy.
Mary Jeanne began her practice at Belford and Stone, Attorneys At Law, in Fall River where her practice was focused on Debt Collection throughout Massachusetts, and representation of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 Debtors in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. She expanded her practice into Family Law in the 1990s, and has continued to build that practice area.
Mary Jeanne also serves as a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem in high conflict Custody matters, she volunteers on the ARC Panel (Attorneys Representing Children), and serves as a Court appointed Conciliator in Bristol County, Massachusetts.
Mary Jeanne has made a priority of ensuring equal access to Justice by serving as a Board Member for the Massachusetts Legal Assistance Corporation (2016 -2025); as a Board Member for the Massachusetts Bar Foundation; and as a IOLTA Grants Reviewer.
