Attorney Smola joined Cohen Cleary in 2021 as a legal assistant and transitioned to an attorney role in 2022. After law school and prior to joining Cohen Cleary, Attorney Smola practice law in her father in laws office for two years then opened her own office for two years. Attorney Smola took a brief leave of absence from the law and worked as a personal trainer, nutrition director and manager of a fitness studio in New Bedford for six and a half years. After the birth of her second child, she decided to enter back into the legal field and began working at Cohen Cleary.
Attorney Smola earned her Juris Doctorate degree at the University of Massachusetts School of Law Dartmouth. During her time at the University of Massachusetts School of Law, Attorney Smola was a Staff Editor of the University of Massachusetts Law Review. Attorney Smola is licensed to practice in Massachusetts state and federal courts as well as Connecticut state court. Attorney Smola earned her undergraduate degree from Monmouth University in New Jersey with a bachelor’s in criminal justice.
