Atty. Babin graduated from B.M.C. Durfee High School in Fall River. She received her A.B. from Barnard College, Columbia University In New York City and her Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law.

She served as an Assistant District Attorney for Bristol County under District Attorney Ronald A. Pina for 6 years. Atty Babin had a private practice in New Bedford specializing in criminal defense, family law and mental health law.

Atty. Babin became an Assistant Judicial Case Manager with the Bristol Probate Court in 2001 where she clerked Court sessions and managed judicial caseloads. She retired from the Court in 2023. She is experienced in family law, guardianships, conservatorships and is a trained conciliator
