Attorney Dana Blakeley is an Associate in Cohen Cleary, P.C.’s Taunton Office. Dana came on as an associate for Cohen Cleary, P.C. in 2025.

Dana earned his undergraduate degree from Providence College in 2013 with a degree in Political Science.

Dana earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Wyoming College of Law in Laramie, Wyoming. During his time at the University of Wyoming, Dana was hired as a law clerk at the University’s Defender Aid Clinic. During his tenure at the clinic, Dana took on several criminal cases, where he served as lead counsel for issues from OUIs in municipal court to appeals in front of the Wyoming Supreme Court. After graduating for the University of Wyoming in 2020, Dana moved back to his hometown of Taunton.

In 2020, Dana relocated to Bangor, Maine, where he worked as a compliance analyst at a local bank. After one year in that role, he transitioned to a position as an accountant with a national financial services firm. In 2023, following the birth of his daughter and his return to Taunton, Dana began his legal career. After passing the bar examination, he joined the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office as an Assistant District Attorney. In this role, Dana gained extensive hands-on experience in criminal law, managing cases from arraignment through trial. His practice included prosecuting matters in District Court such as operating under the influence offenses, violations of restraining orders, and assault-related cases.

Outside of the office, Dana spends his time with his wife, daughter, and two dogs. He loves going on family walks, hiking, and watching his daughter play soccer and dance. Dana is also very active, playing in hockey and volleyball leagues in the area and practicing jiu jitsu at a gym in Taunton. Dana is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts.
